Assistant Director & Actuary

Location: Milwaukee, WI Corporate; hybrid

Salary: $130,800–$196,200 per year

What you will do

• Provide actuarial advice for insurance, disability, annuity, and long-term care products.
• Develop and maintain premiums, dividends, reserves, and surplus requirements by analyzing mortality, morbidity, persistency, investment, and expense experience.
• Design and price new life insurance and long-term care products, implement regulatory changes, and manage in-force policies.
• Perform, analyze, and report Principle Based Reserve calculations and investigate underlying assumptions.
• Enhance in-house models for pricing, cash-flow testing, reserving, and corporate projections.
• Present results to senior management and provide guidance within the assigned area of expertise.

Requirements

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation required.
• At least five years of actuarial experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Advanced expertise in one or more actuarial department activities.
