Specialist Payment & Partner Integration (M-Pesa)

What you will do

• Develop and implement new M-Pesa products, services, and payment integrations.
• Assess requests, conduct feasibility studies, design solutions, and perform business configuration for new initiatives.
• Coordinate product development with Billing & IT, suppliers, partners, Customer Care, security, legal, data privacy, and business stakeholders.
• Prepare or review project, business requirements, change request, risk assessment, technical solution, and cybersecurity documentation.
• Support partners with development and integration into the M-Pesa ecosystem and configure products on mobile money and middleware platforms.
• Manage delivery of mobile money projects, including scope, milestones, implementation progress, and Agile activities with M-Pesa Africa.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering or Mathematics, or an IT/Telecom diploma equivalent to BAC +5.
• 2–3 years of experience in GSM, mobile money, project management, or product development.
• Experience in project management, systems integration, and systems administration.
• Knowledge of GSM network standards, connectivity models, web services, API modeling, Open API, and scripting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English are required.
• Strong problem analysis, decision-making, planning, organization, communication, and teamwork skills.
