What you will do

• Monitor and support z/OS and z/VM systems to maintain high availability and stability.
• Maintain patch compliance and coordinate system updates while minimizing downtime and operational risk.
• Use mainframe management tools to analyze performance trends and resolve incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to implement operational best practices.
• Document system changes and maintain records for audits and compliance.

Requirements

• Location: Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting z/OS and z/VM systems in mainframe environments.
• Proficiency with BMC Control-M, CA Autosys/ESP, or IBM Workload Scheduler.
• Experience with mainframe monitoring, performance analysis, and incident resolution tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in enterprise-scale environments.
• Intermediate English proficiency is required for technical documentation, incident reporting, and communication with global teams.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with patch management, incident response, and compliance processes.
• Experience in regulated, audit-driven, or high-availability enterprise environments.
