Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; onsite home office
Salary: $117,000–$234,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do
- Lead monitoring, detection, triage, and resolution of major production incidents across Omnichannel eCommerce platforms.
- Act as incident commander during critical outages and coordinate cross-functional response teams.
- Design and maintain RESTful API integrations, operational tools, and workflow automation.
- Improve observability, monitoring, alerting, and Site Reliability Engineering practices.
- Diagnose complex issues across Linux/Unix, cloud infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, APIs, and microservices.
- Drive root cause analysis, self-healing automation, infrastructure as code, and AI-assisted operational improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant computer science or engineering field and 3 years of software engineering experience, or 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with large-scale Omnichannel eCommerce platforms, major incident management, production operations, and rapid service restoration.
- Technical knowledge of Linux/Unix, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, networking, RESTful APIs, and distributed microservices.
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace, and OpenTelemetry.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, Shell scripting, SQL, REST API development, and workflow automation.
- Experience with SRE, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, self-healing capabilities, and AI-assisted operational solutions.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2 years of relevant software engineering experience.
