What you will do

• Act as a liaison between vendors and the organization.
• Provide consultative support and implement, drive, and maintain vendor programs.
• Coordinate vendor marketing and training activities.
• Review and negotiate vendor contract terms and manage day-to-day vendor communications.
• Build vendor relationships and monitor vendor performance.
• Research invoice and contractual issues and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

• Seasoned individual contributor able to work with limited supervision.
• At least three years of experience in the relevant functional area with a two-year college degree or equivalent experience; alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of functional experience.
• Substantial understanding of the job and proficiency in relevant competencies.
• Ability to analyze non-routine problems, make recommendations, and determine methods for new assignments.
• Ability to provide assistance and training to lower-level employees and mentor junior personnel.
