Automotive Technician / Mechanical Associate (Automotive)

Location: Grand Rapids–Kentwood, Michigan, United States; onsite at 4431 28th Street

What you will do

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to hirify.global quality and safety standards.
• Perform entry-level mechanical work including tire, brake, battery, fluid, oil filter, and air filter checks and replacements.
• Identify frame, rust, flood, and other vehicle damage.
• Work across domestic and foreign vehicles and collaborate with the mechanical team to resolve technical challenges.
• Follow Environmental, Health and Safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Provide reliable service that supports customer satisfaction and trust.

Requirements

• Experience with engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems as required by the role.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to manage multiple duties in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
• ASE certifications in applicable areas may be required by state or local law.
