What you will do
- Lead strategically prioritized captures from pre-RFP shaping and customer engagement through contract award and post-submission activities.
- Develop qualification plans, win themes, discriminators, customer engagement strategies, decision gates, and color team reviews.
- Lead competitive assessments, market and customer analysis, teaming strategies, and price-to-win evaluations.
- Direct cross-functional teams across technical, management, staffing, teaming, pricing, past performance, and compliance solution areas.
- Partner with proposal teams to create persuasive, differentiated, and compliant federal proposals.
- Brief senior leadership on capture status, risks, readiness, and recommended actions; conduct post-award and post-loss lessons learned.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in business or a related field.
- At least 10 years of federal capture or business development experience.
- Demonstrated wins on $25Mβ$100M+ single-award opportunities, including at least one $50M+ win within the past 2β3 years.
- Experience with Department of Defense and/or Federal Civilian customers; experience with both is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the federal acquisition process, procurement trends, government buying behavior, executive presentations, briefings, and proposal writing.
- Must pass a background check and be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Willingness to travel as business needs require.
Nice to have
- Experience with IDIQ, GWAC, and BPA contract vehicles.
- Hands-on familiarity with FFP, CPFF, and T&M contract types.
- Experience applying capture procedures, decision gates, and color team best practices.
