Manager, Global Store Construction (Architecture)

Location: New York, New York, USA (Corporate Headquarters); regular site visits and inspections are required, including support for international projects.

Base pay range: $95,000–$110,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead new store openings, remodels, and global rollouts from pre-construction through project closeout.
• Manage construction administration, including site coordination, submittal reviews, RFIs, quality control, and issue resolution.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, procurement plans, project milestones, and reporting.
• Coordinate Store Design, Visual Merchandising, Real Estate, and Operations teams with contractors, architects, consultants, and vendors.
• Manage bidding and procurement for materials, millwork, fixtures, and construction services.
• Oversee local code compliance, permitting, contractor coordination, contracts, change orders, and as-built documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in architectural construction management or project management, preferably in retail or hospitality.
• Hands-on experience across design and construction phases, including construction administration, procurement, and vendor coordination.
• Strong understanding of millwork, custom fixtures, and material specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with SketchUp, Rhino, and Microsoft Project or similar tools.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance design intent, budget, schedule, and operations.
