M&S Northern Area Manager (High Voltage Cable Installation)

What you will do

• Lead, manage, and direct engineers and operatives within the HV Systems Installation team.
• Monitor performance, conduct appraisals, identify training needs, and support development planning.
• Coordinate weekly work allocation, team briefings, SHEQ briefings, and company communications.
• Manage line-administration processes, including accurate and timely timesheets and expense claims.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to achieve key performance indicators.
• Develop hirify.global’s regional presence and establish a reactive maintenance service.

Requirements

• Degree-level education with a formal qualification in a relevant professional discipline, or extensive structured training.
• Project and site management experience relevant to the high-voltage cable industry.
• Excellent leadership, prioritisation, planning, and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills across different organisational levels.
• Ability to be based in Leeds and work with the regional installation operation.
