Buyer Business Unit (Automotive Purchasing)

What you will do

• Coordinate program purchasing activities for a designated customer business unit and support successful product launches.
• Control and approve purchasing activities throughout program launch phases and in line with customer demands and commodity strategies.
• Manage financial control, budgets, cost optimization, and savings initiatives across complex programs.
• Ensure the cost-, quality-, and time-oriented supply of goods, materials, equipment, and services.
• Support Make or Buy and Value Analysis/Value Engineering decisions.
• Manage suppliers through RFQs, change management, contract negotiations, payment queries, and dispute resolution.

Requirements

• Commercial or technical degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in automotive purchasing, preferably production materials purchasing.
• In-depth understanding of purchasing tools and practices, including controlling and cost analysis.
• Relevant SAP knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English required.
