Senior Content Producer (Radio)

Salary: £40,600–£50,000 per year, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience.

What you will do

• Lead production of the weekday breakfast programme and set the editorial agenda for the day.
• Develop creative ways to communicate complex stories to local audiences.
• Work closely with presenters and support the production team.
• Drive a multiplatform content agenda across radio, digital, online, social and television platforms.
• Ensure programme structure and content reflect audience habits and maintain a local focus.
• uphold high editorial standards and impartiality across all content.

Requirements

• Experience working in live radio.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including presenters.
• Experience delivering digital content that enhances a radio offering.
• Resilience and the ability to respond reactively under pressure.
• Ability to lead and inspire a small team while creating an inclusive and positive working environment.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom is required.
