Salary: $282,000–$325,000 annually

What you will do
- Serve on the inpatient Infectious Diseases consult service at Tufts Medical Center.
- Lead infection prevention and hospital epidemiology strategy across .
- Define infection prevention goals, metrics, standards, and regulatory compliance requirements with senior leadership.
- Oversee surveillance and reporting of hospital-acquired infections, infection trend monitoring, safety events, and intervention outcomes.
- Lead outbreak prevention, investigation, response, and epidemic preparedness.
- Represent in national, regional, academic, and public health forums while advancing infection prevention research and innovation.
Requirements
- MD or DO with board certification in Infectious Disease.
- Demonstrated experience in infection prevention, hospital epidemiology, and healthcare quality and safety initiatives.
- Proven leadership experience in complex healthcare organizations or health systems.
- Experience collaborating with physician groups, clinical leaders, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and change management skills.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
