Purchasing Intern

What you will do

• Assist with procuring components, materials, supplies, and equipment for factory operations.
• Manage open purchase orders and communicate professionally with suppliers.
• Support on-time delivery by reviewing purchase order confirmations, expediting orders, and tracking past-due orders.
• Assist with department objectives, purchasing projects, and the review of quotes and bids.
• Apply SEL values, operating principles, and World Class Manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business or Operations Management.
• Understanding of electronics technology, manufacturing methods, and total quality processes.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills, assume new responsibilities, and work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Satisfactory background check results and negative drug test results.
