Location: Sunnyvale, California; candidates should be located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role focuses on mid-market accounts in the Bay Area and requires travel.

What you will do
- Lead the technical pre-sales process and collaborate with sales on targeted account penetration strategies.
- Build customer relationships through in-person meetings and serve as the primary technical point of contact.
- Deliver product demonstrations addressing cyber threats and design people-centric security solutions across the portfolio.
- Lead technical discovery, proof-of-concept activities, and production evaluations with customer security teams.
- Provide customer insights to Product Management, Marketing, Product Development, and Engineering.
- Occasionally support professional services deployments, technical training, seminars, and trade shows.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Security Engineer, or senior product support specialist.
- Cybersecurity experience, including enterprise or cloud security, SaaS platforms, messaging, data, network, endpoint, NOC/SOC, or MSP environments.
- Experience with enterprise clients, customer relationships, large-scale assessments, evaluations, complex systems, and supporting teams.
- Ability to present to technical audiences and C-suite stakeholders, work independently, adapt quickly, and drive initiatives.
- Strong PowerPoint, presentation, and organizational skills; a relevant bachelorβs or advanced degree or equivalent experience.
- Travel is required, and candidates must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud security and shadow IT monitoring, risk assessments, policy enforcement, DLP, compliance, or privacy.
- Knowledge of enterprise email solutions, SMTP, directory services, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNS, HTTP, MITRE, or NIST.
- Experience positioning and selling a platform through a consultative approach.
- CISSP or another relevant cybersecurity or cloud security certification.
