Location: Onsite at the San Francisco studio on the Embarcadero, San Francisco, California
Salary: $95,000+ per year, commensurate with experience and skill level

KRON4 is the Bay Area’s local news station within , producing local news and streaming programming.
What you will do
- Lead producers and reporters in delivering accurate, comprehensive news coverage.
- Contribute to editorial planning and lead breaking-news coverage across platforms.
- Review and approve scripts, rundowns, and video to maintain journalistic standards.
- Provide feedback and conduct annual performance reviews for producers and reporters.
- Set the editorial vision for nightside streaming shows and develop new breaking-news and enterprise formats.
- Line-produce newscasts as needed and reinforce safety practices for field crews and reporters.
Requirements
- At least five years of producing experience in a mid- to major-market newsroom.
- Strong news judgment and commitment to journalistic integrity.
- Ability to collaborate with newsroom managers, anchors, reporters, assignment desk editors, and production staff.
- Ability to line-produce newscasts and edit video.
- College degree in journalism, communications, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work onsite at the San Francisco studio.
