Data Analysis Instructor

Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia, with most Data Exploitation courses delivered at the FBI’s Domestic HUMINT Training Center and additional instruction at FBI locations throughout the United States.

Salary: USD $105,000–$125,000 per year.

What you will do

• Deliver virtual Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Data Exploitation courses to integrated FBI audiences.
• Deliver in-person Power Query courses and assist with HUMINT targeting training.
• Facilitate course debriefs and incorporate recommendations, feedback, and student evaluations.
• Design and update curricula and course materials in response to FBI policy, program, and regulatory changes.
• Research data exploitation practices and collaborate with members of the U.S. Intelligence Community.
• Maintain and continuously improve training courses.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• At least 10 years of subject-matter experience in data exploitation, data analysis, intelligence analysis, forensic accounting, FBI staff operations, or an equivalent field.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Power Query in Excel and Microsoft Power BI.
• Expertise creating Power BI visualizations that present analytical findings.
• Ability to develop and deliver clear technical training for students with varied backgrounds and skill levels.
• Experience mentoring students and willingness to pass background and drug screening; Microsoft Excel or Power BI certification required.
