TL;DR
1st Shift Diesel Mechanic B (Diesel Trucks and Equipment): Maintaining and repairing diesel and non-diesel trucks, refuse bodies, and vehicle systems with an accent on hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, engines, and drivetrain components. Focus on diagnosing multi-system faults, performing preventative maintenance, welding and fabrication, and safely returning fleet equipment to operation.
Location: Corsicana, Texas, USA; on-site work with occasional road service required. 1st shift: 4:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Sign-on bonus: $5,000.

What you will do
- Maintain and repair diesel and non-diesel trucks, refuse bodies, chassis, and related equipment.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, air brake, suspension, steering, drivetrain, HVAC, and engine systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, tire work, welding, and fabrication.
- Identify malfunctions using electronic diagnostic tools and complete required training.
- Provide safe road service to return company equipment to operation efficiently.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of technician experience diagnosing and repairing gasoline- and diesel-powered equipment, or graduation from an accredited automotive college or technical school within the next three months.
- Experience with light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks, aircraft, or ships.
- Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and perform basic inspections with limited supervision.
- Knowledge of suspensions, steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, drivetrains, and diesel emissions.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Nice to have
- Automotive Service Excellence certifications T1–T8.
- Commercial Driver’s License.
