Audio Visual Technician Sr.

Location: Busch Gardens Williamsburg, United States; on-site work involving park systems, rides, events, ladders, and genie lifts.

Salary: $20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, green tagging, and follow-up on trouble calls for park audio-visual systems.
• Operate and troubleshoot ride and attraction A/V systems, camera systems, games, background sound, and other park systems.
• Program QSYS, BrightSign, camera, and other audio-visual systems.
• Set up and inspect A/V systems for presentations, special functions, events, and meetings.
• Assist with installations, wiring and cabling, soldering, connector installation, work orders, and equipment supply ordering.
• Support park startup and shutdown systems, fireworks systems, Water Country systems, and seasonal event installations.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old, with a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work on ladders, genie lifts at 20–40 feet, and extreme heights up to 200 feet.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, varied schedules, and outdoor conditions including extreme heat and cold.
• Approximately two years of related experience with video projection systems, audio systems, and installation or maintenance in a theater, festival, or event setting is preferred.

Nice to have

• Audio/video trade school training or certification.
