UX Copywriter French

Location: Brussels, Belgium; hybrid model with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote

What you will do

• Write and refine UX copy throughout the development lifecycle for web and mobile products.
• Create concise UI microcopy, including buttons, onboarding screens, transactional messages, confirmations, warnings, and error states.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, researchers, product owners, conceptual designers, and developers.
• Iterate on copy using user-test insights and stakeholder feedback.
• Ensure copy is accessible, inclusive, consistent, and aligned with UX best practices.
• Adapt Dutch copy into native-quality French and maintain the central UX content database and Figma integrations.

Requirements

• Native French and fluent English required; strong Dutch comprehension or fluency at B2 required.
• At least 5 years of UX Writer experience across web and mobile applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating concise, transactional, user-centered UX copy.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI fundamentals, mobile-first principles, and end-to-end customer journeys.
• Experience working closely with design teams and using Figma.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, explain copy decisions, and refine content based on feedback.

• Experience in an Agile Scrum environment.
