Maintenance- Electrical/ Mechanical

Location: Battle Creek, Michigan, United States; onsite manufacturing facility. Second shift: 1:45 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.

What you will do

• Perform preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Support equipment changeovers and complete scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues in a live production environment while minimizing operational disruption.
• Perform equipment quality checks and collaborate with maintenance, production, and support teams to reduce downtime.
• Complete required training in compliance with hirify.global and customer standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of PLCs.
• Experience as a millwright, electrician, or machine repair technician in automotive manufacturing.
• Ability to work the specified second shift and in a unionized manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Journeyman Card from the Department of Labor.
• Experience in automotive sheet metal stamping.
• Experience working with large transfer and progressive dies.
