What you will do
- Receive government-furnished equipment, kits, parts, and other inventory property.
- Enter property data into databases and process material transfers, releases, receipts, issues, returns, and location changes.
- Conduct monthly cycle counts and oversee annual physical inventories, verifying item locations, quantities, storage, shelf life, and lot information.
- Maintain accurate manual and electronic inventory records, including Costpoint retrieval data, costs, serial numbers, and availability.
- Prepare, verify, and file inventory reports and supporting documentation in accordance with company processes and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with other areas to maintain appropriate inventory levels and perform related administrative duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; at least two years of related work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of ITAR, FAR, and DFARS regulations.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Deltek Costpoint; experience with TCMax, TMI Portal, and Cognos is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, prepare routine reports, and solve inventory and documentation problems.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including walking, bending, stooping, and lifting inventory items up to and sometimes exceeding 50 pounds.
- Must be able to pass drug and background screening and obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Nice to have
- Experience conducting physical inventory counts.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Experience working with PCARSS.
- Experience with TCMax, TMI Portal, or Cognos.
