Maintenance Electrician (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Eastaboga, AL; onsite at Bridgewater Interiors III. 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM–1:30 AM.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic production systems.
• Troubleshoot electrically and mechanically driven equipment to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production.
• Read and interpret AC/DC electrical control schematics.
• Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment and work with variable frequency drives.
• Operate production equipment as needed during repairs and collaborate with maintenance and production personnel.
• Work independently with minimal supervision or as part of the maintenance team while following safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and 480V three-phase motor control systems.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and follow workplace policies.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Automotive manufacturing or machine shop experience.
• PLC programming skills or formal PLC training.
• Basic welding skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or computerized maintenance management systems.
