Location: Fully remote for applicants residing in the continental United States
Salary: $135,000–$160,000 USD annually, with potential eligibility for sales incentive compensation.

What you will do
- Guide customers through the technical aspects of the sales cycle, from discovery through close, and address technical objections.
- Analyze customer requirements and design tailored telecommunications solutions balancing capabilities, resiliency, and cost.
- Lead cross-functional design teams and manage complex, iterative solution designs through completion.
- Validate solution feasibility with operations and product teams and document technical components through designs and diagrams.
- Present customer-specific solutions and value propositions to technical and business audiences.
- Mentor peers, serve as a subject matter expert, and support technical education across the sales organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent business or military experience.
- At least five years of technical sales engineering or technical support experience in telecommunications.
- Industry certifications in at least two specialized technologies.
- Expert-level networking knowledge across optical networking, routing, switching, software-defined networks, and network security.
- Experience designing for business continuity, disaster recovery, resiliency, cloud, edge performance, and security requirements.
- Strong communication, technical diagramming, training, multitasking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
