Business Development Manager, EV Battery

What you will do

• Drive business growth for polyurethane products through engagement across the China EV battery value chain.
• Identify key players, decision-makers, market opportunities, applications, trends, and growth levers.
• Identify, qualify, and develop innovation projects for new EV battery applications.
• Build MDI, PU, and HPU value propositions and define business and technical requirements.
• Lead opportunity planning, milestone follow-up, and progress through transfer to the commercial organization.
• Contribute to cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across a matrix organization.

Requirements

• Profound knowledge of the China EV battery value chain and battery pack technology players.
• Degree qualification and previous commercial experience focused on new business development and market opportunity identification.
• Demonstrated success creating new business opportunities and commercializing products in untapped markets.
• Experience in business development, market intelligence, and analysis of regional market dynamics.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across functions and organizational levels without direct reporting responsibility.
• Fluent English.
