Direct Support Professional / Youth Caregiver (Residential youth support): Supporting children and teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities through person-centered activities, daily routines, and care with an accent on independence, safety, and positive development. Focus on teaching life skills, providing supervision and encouragement, assisting with personal care and medication administration, and maintaining a supportive residential environment.
Location: Everett, WA, USA; in-person residential support role.
Salary: $20.80/hour

What you will do
- Support children and teens ages 12–21 in a residential program.
- Lead person-centered activities that develop everyday life skills, confidence, and independence.
- Provide supervision, coaching, mentoring, and encouragement.
- Assist with meal preparation, personal care, medication administration, school routines, and community activities.
- Perform housekeeping and laundry duties while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma, transcript, or GED.
- At least 6 months of professional experience supporting vulnerable populations.
- Ability to pass DCYF background and fingerprint checks.
- Valid Washington driver's license.
- Strong reading, writing, documentation, and communication skills.
