Test Manager (QA)

What you will do

• Act as Test Manager on the client side, embedded within the engineering team.
• Manage project risks and coordinate mitigation efforts across the team.
• Lead people management through mentoring, performance alignment, and team coordination.
• Bridge communication between QA, engineering functions, and project stakeholders.
• Support planning and status reporting from a lightweight project management perspective.

Requirements

• Solid software testing and QA background, ideally as a Test Manager or QA Lead before moving into project management.
• Experience working as a client-side Test Manager within an engineering team.
• Practical project and people management experience focused on risk management and team leadership.
• Strong stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, immediate-start engagement.

Nice to have

• Experience with both manual and automated testing.
• ISTQB or equivalent QA/Test Management certification.
• Healthcare or other regulated-industry experience.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum ceremonies from both QA and PM perspectives.
