Cloud Engineer II (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based at the hirify.global corporate office in Richmond, Virginia, or hirify.global Auto Finance office in Kennesaw, Georgia; onsite 4 days per week.

Salary: $92,200–$138,300 annually, with possible bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Develop cloud infrastructure, automation, and business capabilities that help internal customers deliver efficiently.
• Design and evolve scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud platforms and operations.
• Interface consumer credit application data with internal and external systems while meeting security and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and systems architects in an agile environment.
• Modernize legacy systems and build platforms that improve operational and customer experiences.
• Apply emerging AI technologies to improve delivery efficiency and time to market.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technology field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience building infrastructure in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• At least 2 years of scripting or coding experience, including experience with .NET, .NET Core, C#, or PowerShell.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, cloud networking, storage, identity and access management, secrets management, virtual machines, automated deployments, and resilient infrastructure.
• Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines and supporting Windows or Linux operating systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cosmos DB and relational databases such as MS SQL Server.
• Strong problem investigation, diagnostic, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience eliminating repetitive manual processes through automation.
