What you will do

• Lead execution of the local-market sales strategy for the Under 500 buyer group.
• Own sales organizational performance, membership growth, retention, persistency, and earnings-plan results.
• Lead, coach, recruit, and develop sales representatives and a multidisciplinary team.
• Develop account penetration, customer development, renewal, presentation, and proactive service strategies.
• Provide input into local marketing strategies and maintain market intelligence through customer, broker, and competitive analysis.
• Monitor critical metrics and dashboards, complete reporting, and execute tactical plans to achieve organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of industry-related experience, including at least 5 years of sales experience.
• Experience leading sales teams and developing staff; sales management experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sales management and account penetration strategy.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, public speaking, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead in an ambiguous, changing, and highly competitive environment.
