What you will do

• Prepare quotations for distribution equipment materials based on construction plans and specifications.
• Build distribution equipment Bills of Material from plans and specifications.
• Recommend distribution equipment products for design-build construction projects.
• Collaborate with electrical contractors, architects, engineers, and project owners on product selection.
• Negotiate pricing with manufacturers and customers.
• Analyze quotation data by product type, manufacturer, bid amount, and customer to identify success and failure patterns.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of related experience or training.
• Knowledge of distribution equipment products and applications.
• Understanding of the construction bid process.
• Two-year trade school or four-year college degree is strongly recommended.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and perform frequent sitting and hand use.
