Quality Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Murfreesboro, Tennessee, United States; onsite at the Murfreesboro Facility

hirify.global operates an automotive manufacturing facility producing and supporting vehicle seating programs.

What you will do

• Provide plant operations quality support for assigned models and production lines.
• Investigate internal, supplier, and customer quality issues, identify root causes, and develop temporary and permanent countermeasures.
• Track and improve quality KPIs, including production losses, end-of-line rejects, rework, scrap, Nissan PPAP submissions, and Nissan performance metrics.
• Lead ongoing programs and monitor quality responsibilities for new programs being launched.
• Escalate quality issues, tasks, and risks, and maintain daily quality reports and corrective-action status.
• Support plant safety goals, AMS objectives, environmental compliance, and resource conservation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of experience in an automotive environment is desired.
• Knowledge of quality core tools and experience with 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, 4M, Pareto, and other quality-control methods.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present information to managers, clients, customers, and groups.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, and intermediate-to-strong Excel skills.
