Lighting Quotations Specialist (Lighting)

What you will do

• Quote lighting materials from construction plans and specifications.
• Build lighting bills of material through plan and specification reading.
• Recommend lighting products for construction and design-build projects.
• Collaborate with electrical contractors, architects, engineers, and project owners.
• Negotiate pricing with lighting manufacturers and customers.
• Analyze quotation results by product type, manufacturer, bid amount, and customer.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of related experience or training.
• Knowledge of lighting products, applications, and the bidding process.
• Background in wholesale electrical distribution or electrical contracting is preferred.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and perform frequent sitting and hand use.

Nice to have

• Two-year trade school or four-year college degree.
• Experience in wholesale electrical distribution or electrical contracting.
