Medication History Pharmacy Technician (Pharmacy)

Location: United States Work at Home; shifts may be scheduled between 3 a.m. and 11 p.m., Sunday through Saturday.

Salary: $17.75–$25 per hour, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

Healthcare organization supporting specialty pharmacy, infusion services, and care delivery in partnership with hospitals and health systems.

What you will do

• Gather and verify complete patient medication lists and allergy information.
• Interview patients and caregivers and document medication details in electronic records.
• Consult pharmacists to resolve medication discrepancies.
• Support quality assurance data, clinical services, order handling, prescription data entry, and insurance claims.
• Work independently and collaboratively while providing emergency availability.

Requirements

• State Pharmacy Technician License.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• At least 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience, including at least 1 year of hospital medication reconciliation or medication history experience.
• Strong computer, communication, interpersonal, and technology skills.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, and/or MediTech.
• For work at home, cable broadband or fiber optic internet with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required.

Nice to have

• Prescription data entry experience.
• Project coordination experience.
