What you will do
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, lighting, power circuits, and electrical devices throughout the park.
- Install wiring, lighting, and receptacle circuits in existing structures and new park additions according to applicable codes.
- Maintain and repair commercial electrical appliances used for food preparation.
- Troubleshoot systems ranging from 24 to 600 volts AC using multimeters and other testing equipment.
- Open and close work orders on a computer and coordinate with other park shops, areas, customers, and leadership.
- Follow safety and environmental regulations while completing assigned work within required time constraints.
Requirements
- Currently hold or be able to obtain within 90 days a general electrician license or C10 Contractorβs license.
- At least four years of experience in electrical maintenance and new electrical construction, primarily in commercial applications.
- Completion of a vocational or electrical apprentice program.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and applicable state or local electrical codes, with strong commercial wiring and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read single-line diagrams and schematics; knowledge of motor starters, lighting systems, motor control centers, ballast, HPS, metal halide, and neon systems.
- Valid state driverβs license and ability to meet requirements for driving vehicles; English reading, writing, and speaking skills required.
