What you will do
- Participate in all phases of the Agile SDLC, including sprint planning, design, architecture, development, testing, and maintenance.
- Create, maintain, and consume third-party web services and APIs.
- Develop and configure new and existing applications, extensions, connections, and modules.
- Improve code performance, maintainability, and flexibility.
- Collaborate with developers, software quality analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analyze and troubleshoot production issues and support code deployment activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, the .NET Framework, MVC 5, IoC, JavaScript, LINQ, HTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, JSON, and Bootstrap.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and service-oriented architecture.
- Experience with unit testing tools such as MSTest or NUnit, and with WCF, REST, and SOAP web service standards.
- Experience with Microsoft development tools, including Visual Studio and TFS, plus SQL optimization, stored procedures, PowerShell scripting, continuous integration, and automation.
- Knowledge of session and cache handling, application pools, release management, triage, Hibernate, and third-party controls or deployment tools.
