Salary: $51,660 minimum with a bachelor's degree; $58,660 minimum with a master's degree.

What you will do
- Assess local community needs and establish educational programming priorities.
- Develop, implement, facilitate, teach, and evaluate research-based programs in 4-H and youth development, agriculture, natural resources, and horticulture.
- Collaborate with nearby Extension agents on 4-H youth development programs.
- Build working relationships with Extension staff, county commissioners, community groups, agencies, boards, and organizations.
- Coordinate with local stakeholders and neighboring counties or reservations to address community needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and relevant work experience in education, youth development, agriculture, natural resources, horticulture, or a related field.
- Ability to lead groups and plan, deliver, facilitate, teach, and evaluate educational programs for youth and adults.
- Ability to recruit, train, and provide professional development to volunteers.
- Strong leadership, communication, judgment, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- Current eligibility for a valid Montana driver's license, an acceptable driving record, access to a work vehicle, and minimum vehicle liability insurance.
Nice to have
- Master's degree or relevant advanced experience.
- Experience facilitating groups and helping communities develop constructive solutions.
- Previous Extension experience.
