English-Hungarian Language Lead - LLM/UI

Location: Hungary (Remote)

What you will do

• Translate and adapt tourism content between English and Hungarian, including website copy, app text, UI elements, chat flows, and knowledge base articles.
• Review and post-edit machine-generated translations, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy.
• Perform translation QA checks for accuracy, consistency, fluency, and terminology.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to refine UI wording, test localized interfaces, and improve user experience.
• Research tourism terminology and maintain style guides, glossaries, and consistent tone of voice.
• Prioritize tasks, implement client feedback, work independently, and meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional English-to-Hungarian translation experience with a solid localization background.
• Excellent written English and Hungarian with strong attention to style, clarity, and audience-specific messaging.
• Familiarity with tourism terminology, travel, hospitality, destination marketing, and related cultural nuances.
• Experience or comfort with LLM-based tools, CAT tools, or translation management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow and improve localization guidelines and glossaries.
• Ability to work independently, respond quickly, accept tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
