2nd Shift Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Youngstown, Ohio, USA; onsite, second shift

Salary: $67,600–$92,950 annually, plus a 10% annual incentive plan target

What you will do

• Supervise A, B, C, and lead technicians performing preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, containers, and heavy equipment.
• Plan and schedule repair work, monitor shop performance, and redirect activities to maintain safe and timely operations.
• Oversee diagnostics, quality-control inspections, outside repair inspections, road tests, and corrective actions.
• Maintain advanced repair capabilities across diesel engines, emissions systems, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC, and welding equipment.
• Manage technician coaching, training, evaluations, hiring and termination decisions in coordination with Human Resources and management.
• Control parts inventory and expenses, prepare budgets, maintain payroll and maintenance records, and document work in Dossier Maintenance Software.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of heavy-equipment maintenance experience.
• At least one year of supervisory experience as a lead technician, supervisor, or manager.
• ASE certification, including T3 Drive, T4 Brake, T5 Suspension and Steering, T6 Electrical/Electronic, T7 HVAC Systems, ASE T2 Diesel Engine, and ASE T Master Certified.
• Thorough knowledge of safe working practices, DOT, OSHA, and federal and state regulations.
