Product Manager, VP - BXCI Technology (Fintech)

Location: New York, United States

Expected annual base salary: $160,000–$225,000, plus discretionary bonuses and other incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for portfolio accounting data warehouses and financial data platforms.
• Partner with Accounting, Operations, Risk, Front Office, Technology, engineering, and data engineering teams to translate requirements into deliverables.
• Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications, and product documentation using Jira and Confluence.
• Oversee governance, resource allocation, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery quality.
• Drive automation, data quality improvements, and workflow optimization across Finance and Operations.
• Lead change management, user adoption, training, business cases, and product updates for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in financial services technology, investment or portfolio accounting systems, or enterprise financial data platforms.
• Experience delivering complex finance technology or data warehouse products at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of portfolio accounting, credit instruments, lifecycle events, and preferably bank debt.
• Proficiency with SQL, Jira, Confluence, Agile methodologies, sprint management, and backlog ownership.
• Understanding of ETL workflows, data modeling, data warehousing, reporting platforms, and analytics tools such as Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI.
• BS/BA in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience or knowledge of Geneva or comparable portfolio accounting systems.
