Gear Quotations Specialist (Electrical Distribution)

Location: Kent, Washington, United States

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 annually, including base pay and bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Quote electrical materials from construction plans and specifications.
• Build bills of material from blueprints and recommend products for design-build projects.
• Collaborate with electrical contractors, architects, engineers, and owners on product selection.
• Negotiate pricing with manufacturers and customers.
• Provide technical expertise within the branch.
• Collect and analyze quotation data by product type, manufacturer, bid amount, and customer.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of related experience or training.
• Understanding of the bid process.
• Plan and specification reading, product knowledge, and product application skills.
• Background in wholesale electrical distribution or electrical contracting is preferred.
• Two-year trade school or four-year college degree is strongly recommended.
