Machine Operator – Sputter (Manufacturing): Operating and troubleshooting sputtering machinery to process and inspect substrates, with an accent on production quality, dimensional drawings, and process control. Location: Onsite in Hollis, New Hampshire, United States. Applicants must qualify as U.S. Persons under ITAR/EAR requirements.
Pay: $19–$21 per hour plus shift differential.

What you will do
- Set up, clean, operate, and troubleshoot sputtering machinery and related equipment.
- Load and unload substrates, inspect quantity and quality, and perform microscope and 100% visual inspections.
- Adjust machinery within defined process windows to produce quality parts.
- Identify out-of-specification products and place them on hold.
- Document production activities in the ERP system and quality databases.
- Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work areas while supporting yield and on-time delivery goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings and work instructions.
- Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, self-motivation, ownership, and teamwork.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR regulations.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, MIL standards, or IPC specifications.
- Some college coursework.
