Field Application Engineer (PCB Manufacturing): Supporting customer PCB designers and manufacturing groups through design-for-manufacture guidance, signal integrity analysis, stack-up and material selection, and technical coordination across TTM facilities. Focus on analyzing PCB manufacturability, resolving DFM and pre-production issues, presenting manufacturing capabilities, and supporting customer programs through QTA/NPI and high-volume manufacturing with 15–25% travel.
Location: Israel; customer, North American, and Asia Pacific site travel may account for 15–25% of the role.

What you will do
- Provide technical support to customer PCB designers and manufacturing groups throughout the design cycle.
- Advise on DFM, DFV, routing, layout, signal integrity, controlled impedance, stack-up, material selection, and electrical and mechanical requirements.
- Analyze customer designs for manufacturability, reliability, specification improvements, and high-yield production.
- Resolve design and DFM/TQ issues between customers, pre-production engineering, operations, and manufacturing facilities.
- Present TTM capabilities, technology roadmaps, and manufacturing solutions in collaboration with sales.
- Travel to customer sites and TTM manufacturing facilities to support technical issues and key programs.
Requirements
- Strong PCB engineering background and knowledge of the complete PCB manufacturing process, including process flows, tooling, and individual processing steps.
- 5–7+ years of experience in engineering activities related to PCB manufacturing.
- Experience with electrical design performance and signal integrity, including impedance and insertion loss.
- Intermediate drawing and blueprint interpretation skills, plus experience with PCB CAM software and PCB stack-up tools.
- Strong written, oral, public speaking, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with customer design groups.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
