What you will do
- Plan and direct daily store operations under the guidance of the Store Manager.
- Lead, coach, and develop leadership and associate staff.
- Execute strategies to improve customer service, store sales, profitability, and promotional performance.
- Monitor employee productivity and performance, creating plans and adjusting goals as needed.
- Assist customers with product information and resolve escalated complaints.
- Maintain inventory levels through replenishment, organization, shrink control, and communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of functional experience.
- Experience leading projects and people; formal management experience is not required.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills affecting store finances, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Experience operating a POS system and various software packages.
- Ability to work in an active environment, move frequently, and adjust or move items weighing up to 40 lbs.
