Focus on leading valuation model reviews, managing audits and third-party valuation firms, improving reporting processes and technology, and presenting results to senior committees and limited partners.

Expected annual base salary: $135,000–$200,000

What you will do
- Prepare, evaluate, analyze, and summarize portfolio investment valuation results for the Private Equity group.
- Lead valuation model completion, reviews, onboarding of new portfolio investments, and data collection procedures.
- Manage annual audits and interim reviews with third-party valuation firms.
- Improve valuation and reporting processes, procedures, offshore resources, and technology usage.
- Create and present valuation materials for senior leaders, internal committees, external auditors, and limited partners.
- Coordinate with management reporting, deal professionals, fund COO/CAO, accounting, operations, finance, and other stakeholders while supporting analyst and associate development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a similar discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in valuations, transaction services, a private equity fund, consulting, or another relevant analytical role.
- Thorough understanding of ASC 820 and valuation approaches including income, market, yield analysis, OPM, contingent claims, and PWERM.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, relationship-management, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint is required.
- Ability to execute recurring deliverables and projects in a dynamic, rapidly growing business environment.
