Senior Project Manager (Enterprise Operations)

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee, USA; onsite operations role

Pilot Company operates a large network of travel centers, retail and fueling locations, and energy and logistics services across North America.

What you will do

• Manage one extra-large or two to three medium-to-large enterprise projects from assessment and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Lead complex, highly visible, cross-functional enterprise initiatives involving business process transformation and technology outcomes.
• Create and maintain detailed schedules, scope, budgets, resource plans, and vendor dependencies.
• Lead cross-functional teams through influence and communicate responsibilities, timelines, progress, risks, and roadblocks to executives.
• Identify and assess risks, coordinate responses, resolve issues, and maintain delivery quality.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and at the agreed quality level.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive project management experience with complex initiatives in large, highly matrixed organizations or management consulting.
• Expertise delivering initiatives using multiple project delivery practices and tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Visio, Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Strong experience with portfolio management tools such as Smartsheet and Jira.
• Deep understanding of waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, and other project delivery methodologies.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Agile certification.
