Focus on designing batch and streaming integrations, managing data lineage and access control, and owning the full Foundry SDLC across pipeline, ontology, and application layers.

What you will do
- Engage with mission customers and end users to understand legacy workflows and operational needs.
- Translate mission requirements and legacy system behavior into Foundry ontologies, objects, links, and actions.
- Design, build, and maintain Palantir Foundry ontologies, pipelines, and Workshop or code workbook applications.
- Build batch and streaming data integration pipelines from relational databases and legacy systems, maintaining data quality, lineage, and security.
- Own the Foundry SDLC across build, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Partner with Full Stack Engineers and Systems Analysts, participate in design reviews, and mentor engineers through the Palantir certification path.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience, including Palantir Foundry experience.
- Deep hands-on experience in at least one Foundry layer and working fluency across ontology, pipelines, and Workshop.
- Strong Python skills, including PySpark for pipeline development, plus experience with SQL and relational or legacy data systems.
- Understanding of data lineage, access control, and security patterns within Foundry.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

- Palantir Foundry certification.
- Experience with legacy system modernization.
- Experience supporting federal or mission-driven environments, particularly DHS.
- Hands-on experience across ontology, pipelines, and Workshop.
