What you will do
- Review, analyze, prioritize, and release customer orders to the warehouse while monitoring completion against deadlines.
- Submit customer routing requests through portals and follow key account requirements and shipping windows.
- Create accurate bills of lading, collect required signatures, and upload shipment documentation.
- Schedule LTL and truckload shipments with carriers, coordinate driver arrivals, and interact with on-site Will Call customers.
- Audit carton and pallet counts, initiate post goods issue for shipments, and coordinate future pack-and-hold orders.
- Escalate order issues, expedite critical shipments, and coordinate rush priorities with Sales, Order Management, supervisors, distribution, and customers.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in order coordination, shipment processing, or distribution center operations.
- Ability to accurately execute customer routing instructions and manage shipment documentation.
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities, identify order issues, and escalate them through appropriate channels.
- Availability to work overtime on short notice and cover departmental duties when needed.
