What you will do
- Own multi-cloud Kubernetes platforms on Azure AKS and Google Cloud GKE, including cluster topology, networking, RBAC, security policies, and cost efficiency.
- Build and evolve an Internal Developer Platform with Backstage, including service catalogs, golden-path templates, scorecards, and self-service scaffolding.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, covering pipelines-as-code, environment promotion, secrets management, and artifact provenance.
- Orchestrate batch and data workflows with Argo Workflows and manage multi-tenant DAGs, quotas, artifacts, and operational guardrails.
- Operate Kafka, CockroachDB, Couchbase, and Elasticsearch, including capacity planning, replication, backup and restore, and disaster recovery.
- Establish observability and reliability practices with Prometheus, Grafana, Tempo, SLOs, alerting, incident response, security controls, and postmortems.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience operating multi-cloud Kubernetes platforms, particularly AKS and GKE.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Backstage, and Argo Workflows.
- Experience operating distributed data services such as Kafka, CockroachDB, Couchbase, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience with observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and Tempo.
- Platform development experience with Go, Node.js, and C#/.NET.
