What you will do
- Design advanced electronic platforms and printed circuit assemblies from architecture through manufacturing.
- Create requirements, perform system trades, select components, capture schematics, and design complex electronic assemblies.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, RF, antenna, digital, mechanical, and systems engineers.
- Lead prototyping, hardware bring-up, debugging, manufacturing, and test campaigns.
- Validate and iteratively improve designs using laboratory, environmental, and on-orbit testing.
Requirements
- Experience with printed circuit board design and layout, electronics manufacturing, bring-up, and testing.
- 4+ years of electrical engineering experience with full-lifecycle development from concept to production.
- Experience with high-speed board design, PCB stack-up, fabrication, floorplanning, component selection, placement, routing, simulation, and measurement.
- Hands-on experience with compute platforms including SoCs, FPGAs, and MCUs; storage including DDR and SSDs; high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, SPI, and JESD204B; and RF components.
- Expertise in signal and power integrity simulation and measurement, including oscilloscopes and network analyzers.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR.
