TL;DR
NPI Documentation Specialist (Product Documentation and Manufacturing): Managing product documentation and supporting the introduction of new and improved products to market with an accent on compliance, change management, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on creating accurate manuals, labels, packaging, datasheets, and BOMs, coordinating documentation changes, and supporting Production teams.
Location: Shannon, Ireland

Established manufacturing and technology organisation supporting new product introduction and product documentation.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain product documentation in line with product standards, legislation, and market requirements.
- Prepare and manage labels, packaging, manuals, datasheets, and related documentation.
- Create and maintain product Bills of Materials (BOMs) in the ERP system for relevant markets.
- Coordinate documentation reviews and validation with Production, R&D, Quality, Purchasing, Sales, Test Engineering, graphic design, and sales offices.
- Assess and coordinate documentation change requests, including validity, lead times, implementation, and stakeholder communication.
- Support Production teams with product changes and documentation-related queries.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Studies, Business & Law, or a relevant equivalent qualification.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, Teams, and web-based systems.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, a methodical approach, problem-solving ability, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a collaborative team.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, quality, or NPI environment.
- Fluency in German.
