TL;DR
Electrical Testing Lead (Industrial Power Distribution): Leading electrical testing operations on the shop floor for industrial power distribution systems with an accent on crew coordination, production procedures, and electrical documentation. Location: Houston, TX (TAS-AIRPORT); onsite work in a manufacturing shop

What you will do
- Guide, direct, and coach electrical testing assembly workers on the shop floor.
- Delegate testing work according to production supervisor instructions and manufacturing schedules.
- Develop and implement production processes and procedures.
- Coordinate multiple work orders, manage priorities, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Read electrical drawings, schematics, one-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams and assist with checking procedures.
- Complete required job documentation, report defective materials or questionable conditions, and enforce safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- At least five years of related factory experience.
- Leadership experience managing, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of best practices for electrical power distribution systems.
- Proficiency with assembly and measuring tools, blueprints, product specifications, and work instructions.
- Familiarity with loop tests, point-to-point tests, function tests, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
- Good command of written and verbal English is required. High school diploma, GED, Master Electrician's License, or equivalent experience is required.
Nice to have
- Three years of electrical testing experience.
- Power generation plant experience, especially with gas turbines.
- Experience with large industrial power units, power networks, chillers, and chiller systems.

- The role may require standing or walking for up to 10 hours per day and up to six days per week.
- Physical duties include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, and frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.
- Steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and a company-provided hard hat are required in the manufacturing facility.
